Security OverviewSecurity personnel can monitor their position indoor as well as outdoor, worldwide, on their mobile device and also that of their colleagues all the time and anywhere by using the Security app. The Security app supports an alarm function and focussing functions. By pressing the alarm button all other colleagues will be notified by a sounding alarm. They then will be able to respond swiftly to the emergency call for they can immediately see on their mobile device where the alarming colleague is located. An overview of the complete site with all buildings and all the floors displaying the positions of the security personnel can also be monitored on a central dashboard that may be accessed by any computer or laptop or any smartphone because it is fully webbased. In this way all personnel involved will have a complete graphical overview of where colleagues are located and in case of an alarm, who sounded it and where this colleague is situated.Basic Security AppThe most basic Security or BHV (BedrijfsHulpVerlening = first-aid service) or Care app (we'll use Security app in the following for briefness) shows each person using the app on a map (mixed indoor and outdoor). The owner of the device is shown either as a green positioning pin or using a profile picture. Other users are displayed as blue positioning pins or by their profile pictures. The app features 3 buttons:- Green focus button - Alarm button - Red focus button. The green focus button is to instantly focus the user's view to his own position (the green pin) on the map. The Alarm button is used to sound an alarm which is issued to all other users. When somebody hits the Alarm button his positioning pin on the map turns into red. All other users will then receive a notification, both visually and by sound, of the issued alarm. They then can open the notification window and hit the red button to focus on the one who sounded the alarm. By doing so they will know instantly where the person in need is located and may take appropriate action. There are many more features to enrich the Security app. One can think of having different kind of Alarm buttons. E.g., an alarm button to sound a silent alarm (like the one above), another to sound an alarm to all users including the one who issued the alarm (this can be usefull when the issuer not only wants to alert other app users but also wants to alert people in his neighboorhood. Another variation could be a special "help-but-be-quiet" alarm button that sounds an alarm at others but by using a special tone this will tell the others not to contact the issuer directly by calling him or by contacting him in any other way that makes noise at the issuer. Dashboard From a central dashboard all the positions and movements of the security personnel may be monitored. Positions and movements of personnel will be shown inside and outside the buildings of the site being watched. Grouping By defining groups one can show clusters of personnel on the dashboard and on the devices. In this way one can keep different groups apart and keep logical units together. This grouping calls for another alarm button, namely one that can alarms only group members and one that alarms all members, independent of group. Personalization Allowing the app users to enter personal information and add a profile picture. The personal information may then be shown whenever somebody clicks on the profile picture of this user on the positioning map. Automatic Alarm Using the build-in accelerometer that most nowadays smartphones have, one can even sound an alarm without pressing a button. This is handy when the user falls down or in some other way is shaken strongly to trigger the alarm. The sensitivity may be a parameter to be adjusted to fit your needs. Real time video and remote storage One may also add streaming video the moment an alarm is issued. This videostream may be seen instantly on the dashboard and stored overthere for viewing afterwards. The videostream may be triggered by pushing a button manually or by a sudden (extreme) move like described above. In case your specific situation is not listed here, please let us know.
